Remembering a record holder

 

Thanks to alert and loyal alum Peter VanAken for emailing me the news of the passing of Hank Blum, Marist track and field, Class of 1972. Hank holds the distinction of owning the oldest track school record on the books, in the discus. If you read his obituary, you will see that Hank was a family man and a man of great faith. Although I never met Hank, he remains a vital link to our program's history, and I hope his huge extended family knows that he remains immortalized on our school-record board in the McCann Center.
