It was a bit unusual to not have any athletes entered (and, thus, not to be there) on Thursday night at Penn Relays. Since 1998, when we first had an athlete (Mike Melfi) race in Distance Night at Penn, there have only been a few occasions that I have not been at Franklin Field for that: 2015, when I was recovering from hip surgery, and 2020/2021, because of the (Covid-19) pandemic. But alas, Marist track WILL be represented at Penn on Saturday, with the 5,000-meter racewalk (Marissa Sciotto, Megan Hoffman, Kyra Pellegrino) and the 4x800 relay (Parker O'Brien, Sierra Fisher, Kayla Hawkins, Adele Alexander). So, that will be great!
