The latter part of this week, and then spilling into the
coming weeks, represents just about our busiest stretch of competition as the
outdoor track season rounds the bend to championship season. Once again, Marist
will be well-represented at the Penn Relays on Thursday, Friday and Saturday
down at Franklin Field in Philadelphia. Here is our schedule of athletes who
are competing down there over the three days.
Thursday, 10 a.m., 400-meter hurdles: Debbie Boerke
Thursday, 1:15 p.m.: Women’s 4x100 relay team
Thursday, 6:25 p.m.: Women’s 4x400 relay team
Thursday, 8:10 p.m., 3,000-meter steeplechase: Nicki Nesi
Thursday, 9:25 p.m., 5,000-meter run: Steven Rizzo
Thursday, 10:25 p.m., 10,000-meter run: Elizabeth Wasserman

After our trip to Penn, we turn right around and go to Yale
on Sunday. Then, next week, we have the Vassar Twilight Meet on Friday night,
followed by the MAAC Championships on Saturday and Sunday at Rider.
