Our longer than anticipated weekend in Snow Town USA is over. We left Newton at around 1 p.m. Our bus driver, Dave, was phenomenal in handling the high winds on the highway, especially in Western Mass., and he navigated us home in the daylight. The amount of snow in the Boston area is incredible; it looks like a science fiction movie. Never seen anything like it. And by the way? There is another storm or two this week. Lovely! But first, we have 50-below wind chills to deal with. August, anyone?
What's next? MAAC Indoor Championships! Note that the meet is on SATURDAY this year, a departure from the past. As in previous years, the meet starts later. First event is at 4 p.m., and the last event is scheduled for 10:15 p.m. A final time schedule and other meet details will be posted here as the week progresses.
