Texas two-step: Big Man wins two races in one day!

Congrats to Marist Running Alum Joel "Big Man" Moss for his double victory down in Texas. Joel won a 5K and a 10K on the same day in the same event. Here are his awards (to the left) and here is his quick race report:

"Times were OK -- 17:17 for the 5K and 36:26 for the 10K. Course was on gravel and dirt and it was 80-something with no shade on the course (Editor's note: Hmmm, hot and sunny in Texas in August? What a stunner!) Overall, I felt OK but I'm going to start stepping up my training now that I'm signing up for a half marathon in November."
