Food for thought: Yummy awards to top runners

Inspired by the famous "Fox Cookies" made by Zak Smetana's mom several years ago at our home meet, we had a cookie making summit at our home on Friday night.

It featured the families of Coach Pete and Coach Chuck, and it lasted several hours.

The result was an undying respect for Kim (Zak's mom) for coming up with this idea, and six beautiful Fox cookies.

The top three finishers in each race were presented with the cookies, by our daughter Natalie. You can see a sampling of the post-race desserts here.
