Alumni half-marathon success stories

Congrats to recent Marist Running Alums on their excellent races today:

--Nick Webster blitzed the Mohawk Hudson River Half Marathon in Albany in 1:14:04, good for fourth place overall and a 5:40 pace.
--Brian Townsend had a fantastic debut at 13.1 at the Staten Island Half Marathon in 1:15:34, good for fifth place and a 5:47 pace. Brian emailed me his splits and they were awe-inspiring, with his fastest miles coming late in the race as he toiled in no man's land on his own.

We are proud of the efforts of both of these young men, as they continue to run fast and run strong in their post-collegiate days. NICELY DONE.
