Alumni Race Results: How sweep it is

Up at the ARC Half Marathon and 5k in the Syracuse suburb of Liverpool, it was a Marist Alumni sweep.

-- Steve Hicks (class of 2005) won the half marathon by a whopping 5 minutes in 1:13:41, an average of 5:38 per mile. Steve will be racing at Iona MOC.

-- Mike Melfi (class of 1999) won the 5k in 15:43 (5:04 pace). Mike has had some physical and health issues over the past few months, but he is on the rebound and working on regaining his leg turnover while still pounding out the mileage.

It's pretty cool that these two alums from different Running Red Fox eras are now training together as well.
