Spencer's solid half marathon. In San Diego!

Here is Marist Running Alum Spencer Johnson’s picture and race report from the America’s Finest City Half Marathon in San Diego, where he now lives: I placed 13th overall out of 4141 in 1:09.31. The first few miles were downhill coming from Cabrillo National Monument at the tip of Point Loma, and the last few miles were straight uphill going up from Downtown to Balboa Park. I ran most of the race alone besides the last few miles, but it was a good effort considering I did 106 miles the week before! Here are my splits:
