Despite the roiling heat and humidity -- the real feel during the women's 5km race tonight was 94 degrees ... and that was with a delayed start due to lightning in the area! -- Hayley Collins (8th place, 17:24.88) and Gianna Tedeschi (10th place, 17:32.87) managed the conditions well and raced with toughness and grace, representing our program well.
