Mets Outdoor Championship: Day 1 results, splits, photos

Day 1 of the Metro Championships was held on a blustery and chilly day at Rutgers – very, very windy! Day 2 on Saturday is calling for more of the same, only more chilly and more wet. Ah. Gotta love collegiate track and field in April. Jake Hensler ran a personal-best time en route to a 5^th place finish in the 3,000 steeple, a super effort in tough conditions. Thanks to Jake’s mom, Carol, for supplying some great photos from the water pit.
