Just got the race report from Coach Chuck and then David Marthy, who had a strong showing at 800 meters out in California. David placed 4th out of 17 runners in section 3 and 23rd overall out of 98 competitors and ran 1:52.38. This is an improvement over his time of 1:52.95, run at Bucknell last week. David said he had to swing way out into Lane 5 at the finish to get through the traffic: 17 runners in an 800-meter race is a lot. We are proud of the way he competed.
