Vess returns East, runs 8:00.84 for 3,000 meters

It was great to see Marist Running Royalty Adam Vess, now racing for Team Run Flagstaff, over the weekend in Boston. Vess returned to his old stomping grounds – some of his most memorable races were run at BU. He was in the seeded section of the 3,000-meter run and he did not disappoint. He ran a 5-second PR with his ninth place finish in 8:00.84. His TRF teammate, Nick Hilton, was a few strides ahead of him in 7:57.55. Vess ran tough and strong and even.
