The sunny smiles of school-record holders

Thanks to team member -- and school record holder -- Colleen Meenan for sharing these excellent photos from this weekend's Colonial Relays at William & Mary.

On the left is the 4x1500 relay team of Christine Coughlin, Kathryn Sheehan, Becca Denise and Kristen Traub. This is a rarely run relay, but the ladies ran great and crushed the previous school record.

Below is the DMR team of Erin Thompson, Nicki Nesi, Colleen Meenan and Kristen Traub. They smashed the outdoor DMR mark. The DMR is also a rarely run outdoor event. Both relays did a great job on a relatively cool and breezy (for southern Virginia) afternoon.

Freshman Kristen Traub should be lauded for pulling off an extremely difficult double (800 first in the DMR and then anchoring with a 1,500) in a relatively short period of time. To one and all ... NICELY DONE!
