Having a big buffet breakfast in the hotel here this morning, I couldn't help but notice how much of this hotel business is being consumed by Hurricane Sandy. Repair crews and insurance adjusters are everywhere. Hotel workers seem to know them well, indicating they've been here for a while. This hotel just got power restored earlier in the week. The Connecticut coast was slammed pretty hard by both storms -- Sandy and then the nor'easter.
We feel fortunate to look out the window and see bright sunshine today for regionals. It is chilly and windy, and the course most likely will be a bit sloppy. It's cross country. Spike up and go. I will post here with results upon returning to campus.
