The weather forecast is calling for a powerful Nor'easter to slam into our area on late Wednesday and Thursday. This is exactly what the already storm ravaged New Jersey, NYC and Long Island coastlines do NOT need! The good news is, after this storm the weather will turn much better for the weekend. From our limited scope, our next meet -- the NCAA Northeast Regional cross country championships -- will be held on Friday and the weather looks good for that day. The day before the race is a different story. The course at Hammonasset State Park could get a bit wet from this storm, but meet officials feel the course can handle it well.
