Well. The original forecast for today called for "scattered showers." I dunno. The showers I saw were not scattered and they were definitely not showers. Both practices -- men's XC at Farm Lane and women's XC at the Vassar College track -- were held in heavy rain. The above picture was taken with Annie Gould's phone/camera in the Vassar Track parking lot after a rain-soaked afternoon workout. You'll notice the crazed ladies showing off their guns after their hard effort -- on the track today, and in the weight room yesterday. Alert readers/viewers will also notice four members of the men's team in the background. Those glycogen deprived fools had just completed a tempo workout across the street at Vassar Farms, and of course they decided to sneak into this photo. To one and all today, in miserable conditions: NICELY DONE.
