Mt. SAC: Men’s 10km

The best way to describe the races here: disappointing (Will Griffin) and very disappointing (Ken Walshak).

I must be careful to stress that in no way am I displeased with the EFFORT both men put in. But the results were not there.

In both cases, the break in pace happened shortly after the 5km mark – more marked in Kenny’s case.

Both men prepared well for the race, which makes the result all the more disappointing.

  1. It's funny how a 30:40 10k is disappointing considering when I ran a 30:48 it was a new school record and I was the first Marist runner under 31:00. Boy, the program has come a long way!

  2. Although results were not as spectacular as hoped, still very solid times with toughness shown when things got a bit out of control. Also, the usual kudos to Pete and Chuck for enabling the athletes to go to Mt Sac. IC4A & ECAC Quals are pretty good, too.
